Font Election Results
November 8th, 2012 by Jim Kidwell
Now that we know the results of the US Presidential Election, it’s time to find out the results of our Presidential font election.
On election day you voted for either the typeface used by President Obama’s campaign, Gotham from Hoefler & Frere-Jones (Typeface A) or Governor Romney’s campaign use of Trajan from Adobe.
The results are a bit more skewed than those of the US election, but fell in line with the final results.
President Obama did use a special serif variation of Gotham created especially for this use. It must be nice to get special treatment from foundries, eh?
