Nike, typography, and black history month?

Quick link here: An interesting convergence occurred last week.
Nike placed the following ad in the New York Times in celebration of Black History Month. It simply reads “Honor those who stepped forward when others were thinking backwards”.
Naturally- the ad was produced by Wieden+Kennedy (in our home town of Portland, OR).
LIKE.AWESOME THIS WAS THE BOOM THE CREATOR PUT SINCE IN A ARM THE RIVER FLOWED THROUGH THE FINGERSCREATING A SIGN THAT SAYS BLACK POWER FOREVER AND EVER……THANK YOU….BLACK SISTA
