This May, I’ll be speaking at Future of Web Design in London.
It’s a great event filled with incredible sessions and workshops, covering everything from the technical to the inspirational. I’ll be speaking about web typography with a heavy dose of inspiration and only a little bit of code.
If you’d like to join me, we’re giving away a pass over on the WebINK blog.
Hope to see you there!
list of daytime sessions to attend, and dizzying array of evening events, it’s always easy to find something interesting and stimulating to attend. We had a great time, and if you were there, I’m willing to bet that you did as well. For a full summary of what we saw and did, see the SXSW Recap on the WebINK Blog.
To help kick off SXSW 2013, one of the first events was a great collection of talented developers pulling together for charity, it was the SXSW WebVisions Hackathon.
I was impressed with the number of quality developers, coders, designers and project managers that came together to develop new websites and solutions for three nonprofits – Habitat for Humanity, Capital Area Food Bank and DesigNYC.
Divided up into three teams, each with all required disciplines to develop efficiently, these teams pulled together to very quickly build the web solutions requested by the nonprofits – an incredible feat when you consider it’s all done within one 8-hour day.
Extensis was happy to help through the sponsorship of Free WebINK web fonts for use on any of the final project websites.
Congratulations to everyone involved on a great day, and successful project completion.
